I found the whole process with Vince very straightforward and easy. He gave me advice when needed and was easy to contact via mobile or email. I will definitely be recommending him to others.

- Mr A. Zorbas

Vince is the Director and Principal Solicitor at Broadlegal with more than 12 years legal experience. He set up Broadlegal and created a business model that provides outstanding legal services at highly competitive rates. Vince acts for a diverse range of clients on matters with varying degrees of complexity, from small claims advice to acting for an English Premier League football agent in a high value multi-property dispute. He regularly represents clients at the County and Family courts. Vince believes strongly that his legal expertise is a 'gift he has received to serve others'. As a result, he also provides free legal advice and full representation to help those unable to afford quality legal services, with particular emphasis on Children, Family, Housing and Debt matters (terms & conditions apply).

Vince obtained a first class honours degree in Law at the University of Hertfordshire and later completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at BPP Law School, Holborn. He has since established himself, as a truly knowledgeable and multi-skilled lawyer who understands that not every legal problem requires a legal solution, where a bit of grit and pragmatism would do.

Alongside his legal practice, Vince is an ADRg Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator and founder of London ADR, which provides mediation and mediation education services, where he regularly delivers talks on cost-effective out-of-court alternatives in resolving disputes. Vince draws from his mediation expertise when acting for clients on contentious matters and seeks to achieve early resolution with a focus on saving costs and time.

Experience

EXPERIENCE

> Acted for a Director of a Care Home company in defending an unfair prejudice claim and advised on early settlement strategy resulting in early settlement of the dispute.

> Represented a Claimant under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 against two Defendants (executor and beneficiary) separately represented. Proceedings were started at the High Court but successfully negotiated a settlement of over £100,000.00 in favour of the client from an initial legacy of £20.000.00.

> Represented a Tier 2 sponsor license holder in a significantly complex case. The license holder was initially unsuccessfully represented following an unannounced Home Office visit resulting in the suspension and subsequent revocation of its license. Robust representations were made to the Home Office and the revocation overturned.

Acted for the majority Directors of a board of five members in a dispute involving misappropriation of the company's funds in excess of £300,000.00 and various breaches of fiduciary duties.

> Acted for a client in a financial remedy case involving a local authority. The ex-husband whose sole name was on the title register of the family home sold the property to a local authority (on the basis of vacant possession) without the knowledge of his wife (client) living in the property. On the day of completion, the client found out about the sale and the local authority equally discovered that the property was occupied. Urgent action was taken to protect the client's interest in the property to prevent completion until a settlement of half the sale proceeds over £140,000.00 was negotiated in favour of the client.

> Advised an employer with over 20 employees on regulatory compliance and disciplinary procedure; and advised on and guided the employer in successfully handling an employee's discrimination and harassment grievance.

> Represented an employee following dismissal by one of the UK's top supermarket chains. Identified and challenged a number of significant flaws in their investigation process resulting in a substantial financial settlement in favour of the employee having started proceedings at the Employment Tribunal.

> Regularly representing clients at the Magistrates Courts, County Courts and Family Courts including the Central London Family Court and the Immigration and Employment Tribunals.

I am proud to be Vince's client. The way he handled my case was fantastic and I was 100% satisfied. I was very happy with the result. Vince is very friendly and hardworking. Thank you for the work you have done for me.
